About
Who I Am
I’m someone who’s spent 25 years fascinated by a simple question: Why do brilliant people create their own suffering?
I’m a father to two daughters who keep me honest, a husband to a woman who sees through my patterns, and a perpetual student of human consciousness. I’m also someone who spent the first 30 years of my life trapped in patterns I couldn’t see, convinced I was uniquely broken.
Turns out I wasn’t unique at all—just running the same programs as everyone else.
The Journey Here
I grew up in Kenya, where I first noticed I could sense things others couldn’t. At ten, I knew my teacher was pregnant before she announced it. At twelve, I saved my baby brother from drowning because I “felt” something was wrong. These experiences terrified me—I thought something was wrong with me, so I buried these abilities for decades.

My conventional path looked successful:
- Sports Science degree
- Elite strength and conditioning certifications
- Head of Performance at Chelsea FC for five years
- Three years with Barcelona and elite footballers
- Working with Olympic champions and world-class performers
But underneath the success, I was searching for something I couldn’t name.
The Moment Everything Changed
At Chelsea, I watched a footballer stand on two scales showing an 8kg weight imbalance. When he recalled a positive memory, the scales instantly balanced. When he recalled trauma, they went haywire again.
A thought had changed physical reality in real-time. That moment sent me down a rabbit hole that would consume the next two decades. I studied everything that might explain what I was seeing:
- Energy medicine with Dr. Kam Yuen
- Consciousness with Krishnamurti’s teachings
- Trauma and addiction with Gabor Maté
- Mineral dynamics with Morley Robbins
- Tai Chi, Qigong, and somatic practices
Each piece revealed part of the puzzle, but it took years to see the complete picture.
" The changes in one year in both personal and professional aspects can only be described as unbelievable! "
- Mark Blundell, Entrepreneur
" A year ago today I gave up 19 years of pain, operations and drugs. Was I skeptical? Hell, yes. Thank you Rob Brinded for a pain-free life."
- G. Garrard, UK
What I Actually Do
I help people see patterns they can’t see in themselves.
After working with thousands of clients—from Premier League footballers to Silicon Valley CEOs, from struggling parents to billionaires—I’ve developed a framework for understanding the invisible forces that run human behavior.
Think of me as someone who can read the code that’s been running your life since childhood. I’m good at pattern recognition, synthesis, and making the unconscious conscious. I help you step from being run by your programming to observing it with choice.
My Approach to Life
I live simply. On a subtropical island, away from the intensity that once consumed me. My days involve morning meditation with a coffee, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (which keeps me humble), time with family, and deep work with clients ready to see their patterns.
I question everything. Conventional wisdom, accepted practices, my own beliefs. If something doesn’t create real change, I’m not interested. This has led me to some unconventional places—from energy work that shouldn’t be possible to mineral protocols that transformed my health.
I stay in practice. I’m not teaching from theory—I live this work daily. I still catch my patterns spinning. The difference now is I can see them, understand them, and choose differently.
What Drives Me
I’m motivated by unnecessary suffering. I’ve watched too many brilliant people destroy themselves with patterns they couldn’t see:
- The Olympic champion whose need to fight everything led to cancer
- The athlete whose identity collapsed without sport, leading to suicide
- Countless successful individuals medicating pain they didn’t understand
But I’m equally motivated by possibility. I’ve seen people transform when they finally see their patterns. Parents who break generational cycles. Leaders who stop performing and start being. Individuals who discover they were never broken—just running outdated software.
My Personal Philosophy
We’re all running the same core programs. The details look different, but the patterns are universal. This means no one is uniquely broken or specially gifted—we’re all variations of the same human experience.
The seeing is the healing. You don’t need to do more, achieve more, or become more. You need to see clearly what’s already running. When you truly see a pattern, it begins to dissolve.
Integration over specialization. Mind and body are one system. Consciousness affects physical reality. Everything connects. You can’t heal one without addressing the other.
Family is everything. My wife Sylvia and daughters Lima and Bo are my greatest teachers. They show me my patterns, call out my blindspots, and remind me what actually matters.
The Real Me
I’m terrible at small talk but can discuss consciousness for hours. I forget to eat when I’m deep in research. My sense of humor tends toward the absurd—with close friends, I’m the one making ridiculous observations that have everyone crying with laughter. My wife knows that behind the serious practitioner is someone who finds life genuinely hilarious.
I’m someone who gets obsessed with understanding things fully. I’ll read 200 research papers on mineral dynamics or spend months mapping psychological patterns. I can be too intense about topics that fascinate me, then realize I’ve been monologuing about hamster wheels at dinner parties.
I’ve failed at more things than I’ve succeeded at—relationships, business ventures, my own health. Those failures taught me everything worthwhile.
Why I Do This Work
Because I remember being seventeen, crashed out, convinced I’d never be okay.
Because I’ve felt the relief of finally understanding what was running me.
Because my daughters deserve a father who’s free from generational patterns.
And because I know — with absolute certainty — that everyone has the capacity to step outside their programming and discover who they really are underneath.
If you’re ready to see your patterns and explore what’s possible beyond them, I’d be honored to support that journey.
